History of Ian’s Racketball .
Ian Wright, Chester, Reg and others many years ago asked Derek Price to develop
and produce balls, for Ian’s new UK ‘Racketball’ game he had developed from American
‘Racquetball’.
The Association (Ian and other players) also asked for a slower blue ball to
be developed. Balls imported were too lively and variable from delivery to delivery.
When development complete PRICE balls were adopted as the‘Official’ Balls.
Later the Squash association who had taken over the running of Racketball asked for
the development of a intermediate speed ball between the blue and black and it became
the National tournament ball. The original black ball still being used by some best
players.
To distinguish the two black balls we named them Price ‘singledot’ © and the Price
